Therapy can help with the emotional aspects of this transition that medication alone can't reach.Dr Jen, the Psychology Haven
Changing hormone levels can affect both your body and your emotional wellbeing.
It can be a time of significant change and transition, at a time when there may be other stressors around too such as caring for children, parents or balancing work and family life. You may notice changes in your mood, increased anxiety or worry, irritability, difficulty concentrating, brain fog, as well as difficult physical symptoms.
Therapy doesn’t replace medical support for menopause but therapy can help with the emotional aspects of this transition that medication alone can’t reach.
